Anthony V. Maioriello, M.D., M.S.
Neurosurgeon, Midwest Brain and Spine
Dr. Maioriello was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Illinois Benedictine College. After college, he completed a two-year graduate program in less than a year and received his Master of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from Northwestern University. Dr. Maioriello graduated from Rush Medical College in 1998 and his six-year neurosurgical residency was completed at the University of Texas Medical Branch in June 2004. He began private practice immediately after residency. His clinical interests include: minimally invasive spine surgery, brain and spine tumor surgery, brain and spine trauma surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, general neurosurgery, neurosurgical intensive care, stereotactic neurosurgery and the surgical management of neck and low back pain.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He has been published in the Journal of Neurosurgery, the Journal of Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Society for Neuroscience Abstracts and presented at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting and the Society for Neuroscience.
Todd Ridenour, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Ridenour, a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, is an Iowa native – born in Iowa City and raised in Sioux City. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. His neurosurgical residency was completed at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Ridenour specializes in general neurosurgery, brain tumor surgery, brain and spinal cord injury management and carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and is certified by The American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Ridenour has been published in the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism, Anesthesiology and the Journal of Spinal Disorders. His numerous presentations include the Annual Society of Neuroscience Meeting, the AANS/CNS Joint Session-Spine and the Iowa Midwest Neurosurgical Society. Among his many professional affiliations are Fellow-American College of Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Iowa Midwest Neurological Society, Iowa Medical Society and the American Medical Association.
