What is the incidence of re-tearing of the rotator cuff post surgically and how will this effect further repairs?

The incidence can be as high as 58 to 95 % at two years contingent on the techniques used. Using the current double ro anchor technique retears are expected to be much lower (around 10-20%) but is contingent upon the quality of tissue and bone at surgery, chronicity of tear and amount of retraction of tendon.
