P. David Adelson, MD
P. David Adelson, MD, is the surgical director of the Epilepsy Surgery Program at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Dr. Adelson is both a superb technical surgeon and a leading neurosurgery researcher with extensive experience in epilepsy surgery in children. He is able to identify and perform curative and ameliorative procedures on the most challenging patients. A key element in the success of the Children’s Hospital Epilepsy Surgery Program is the specialized ability of the neurosurgeon. Dr. Adelson is a pediatric neurosurgeon with special skills in epilepsy surgery who is renowned locally, nationally and internationally for this work.

Deborah L. Holder, MD, the medical director of the Children’s Hospital Epilepsy Surgery Program, is a pioneer in expanding surgical therapy to all children with epilepsy who can benefit from surgical procedures. She provides an individualized approach to each child’s medical condition. |
