Educational Objectives:

Interventional cardiologists will learn to risk stratify patients with ischemic coronary syndromes and identify optimal antithrombotic therapy for those undergoing PCI

Interventional cardiologists will learn evidence-based approaches to reducing bleeding complications and risk of transfusion in patients undergoing PCI

Clinicians will learn how to select antithrombotic agents to balance reduction of ischemic complications with reduction in bleeding complications

Clinicians will learn how to prevent and assess heparin-induced thrombocytopenia in patients undergoing PCI

Clinicians will learn how landmark trials and analyses focusing on PCI and ACS can assist in guiding antithrombotic therapy in the contemporary setting of invasive management of ACS
