John M. Clark, M.D., is a electrophysiologist – a cardiologist specializing in heart rhythm disorders – and director of the Pediatric Arrhythmia Center at The Heart Center at Akron Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in Rootstown, Ohio. He completed his pediatric residency at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Clark completed his fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C., and subspecialty training in pediatric electrophysiology at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He has been in practice since 1998.

Grace Lee Smith, M.D., FAAP, FACC, heads up Akron Children’s Hospital’s Youngstown office at 1006 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 3, and also serves as the associate director of the Arrhythmia Center at The Heart Center at Akron Children’s Hospital.

She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Smith then completed a fellowship in pediatric electrophysiology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Smith staffs The Heart Center’s Boardman office, while also practicing at Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon, Pa. She has been in practice since 1993.
