Accolade® Hip System
On Friday, September 16th at 2:00pm EST (1:00pm CDT), Stryker Orthopaedics presented a live mini-incision Total Hip Arthroplasty surgical Webcast featuring the Accolade® TMZF® and Trident® Acetabular Hip Systems. This Webcast was broadcasted directly from the Surgical Decisions and Advancements in Primary Reconstruction meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
This Webcast provided an opportunity for surgeons and operating room staff to gain a practical understanding of how the Accolade® Total Hip System incorporates features designed to provide benefits to patients, surgeons and OR staff. The flexibility of the new expanded size offering of the Accolade® TMZF® will be highlighted during the procedure.
The THA was performed by William J. Hozack, M.D. from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA and was moderated by Arthur L. Malkani, M.D. of the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. Registered attendees had the ability to interact with the Surgeon and Moderator during the procedure via e-mail.
