Brian F. Gilchrist, MD

Brian F. Gilchrist, MD
Chief of Pediatric Surgery, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center

Brian Gilchrist, MD, is the Chief of Pediatric Surgery, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, and a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Gilchrist is also currently an Associate Professor at TUSM.

He completed his surgical residency at Oregon Health Science University, transplant fellowship at Deaconess Harvard Surgical Services, and pediatric surgery fellowship at Brown University's Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, RI.

Dr. Gilchrist is board certified in Pediatric Surgery and General Surgery, and also holds a certificate in transplantation. His specialties include trauma, pediatric surgery and transplant surgery.

 

Alex Flores, MD

Alex Flores, MD, is Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, and an Associate Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. 

He is a graduate of the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala School of Medical Sciences, and received graduate training at Baylor College of Medicine, Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School, Duke University Medical Center, Hospital Militar, Jacaltenango Hospital, Roosevelt Hospital in Guatemala, and the World Health Organization-UNICEF.

Dr. Flores is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatrics. In addition to developing the LAPEG procedure, Dr. Flores’ specialties include GI motility disorders, and general pediatric gastroenterology. 

 

Peter Ngo, MD

Director of Pediatric Endoscopy, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center

Peter Ngo, MD, is the Director of Pediatric Endoscopy at Floating Hospital for Children and a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his post graduate training at University of California at Irvine Medical Center, Children's Hospital Boston, and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Ngo is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatrics. His specialties include inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic GI disease and allergic gastrointestinal disease.

 

Carl-Christian Jackson, MD

Pediatric Surgeon, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center

Carl-Christian Jackson, MD, is a graduate of UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his surgical residency at University of Chicago Hospitals, an ECMO Fellowship at the University of Chicago Children's Hospital, thoracic and foregut fellowship at the University of Southern California, and pediatric surgery fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Dr. Jackson is board certified in Pediatric Surgery and General Surgery. His specialties include minimally invasive surgery, foregut diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease.
