Paul Pearson, MD

Paul Pearson, MD, PhD, is a Marshfield Clinic cardiothoracic surgeon on staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wis. Dr. Pearson received his medical degree, as well as a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology from the Mayo College of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. He completed his residency in general surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, and went on to complete an additional residency in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Dr. Pearson is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Heart Association, as well as a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Pearson is actively involved in research, is extensively published and is a national lecturer.

Hope Maki, MD, is a Marshfield Clinic cardiothoracic surgeon on staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wis. Dr. Maki received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her residency in general surgery at Marshfield Clinic/Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wis., as well as an additional residency in thoracic surgery from the University of California in San Diego.
In addition to her busy practice, Dr. Maki is the Chair of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery department of Marshfield Clinic. She is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.

Chong C. Lee, MD, FACS

Chong C. Lee, MD, FACS, is a Marshfield Clinic cardiothoracic surgeon on staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wis. Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He completed his residency in general surgery at George Washington University Hospitals in Washington D.C. and went on to complete an additional residency in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the University of Buffalo Hospitals in Buffalo, New York. In addition, Dr. Lee was a research fellow at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Society of Vascular Surgery. He is Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Services for Marshfield Clinic Wausau and Weston Centers as well as the Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory in the Diagnostic and Treatment Center located in the Weston Regional Medical Center. Dr. Lee is a national speaker and is well-published.

P. Daniel Horton, MD

P. Daniel Horton, MD, is a Marshfield Clinic cardiologist on staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wis. Dr. Horton received his medical degree from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He completed his residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in cardiology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Conn. Dr. Horton completed an additional fellowship in nuclear cardiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
Dr. Horton is the Director of the Cardiac Rehab Program and is the Co-Director of the Echocardiographics Lab, both are services of Marshfield Clinic. In addition, he is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
