Purpose
Demonstrate and describe treating achalasia with minimally invasive esophageal surgery.
Program Objectives
During this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the patients who are candidates for Laparoscopic Heller Myotomy.
- Describe the techniques used during the procedure.
- Cite the benefits of Laparoscopic Heller Myotomy as compared to conventional treatment.
Target Audience
The content of the program is appropriate for gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, and general surgeons.
