Dr. Hoeffel's practice includes the treatment of orthopedic injuries including fractures. His area of subspecialty is total joint replacements and revision of failed total joints. He sees patients at our downtown St. Paul and Woodwinds clinics. He cares for patients at United, Regina and all HealthEast hospitals.

Medical Training
Dr. Hoeffel holds a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After receiving his degree, he completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at the University of Nebraska at Creighton. He completed subspecialty fellowship training in total joint replacement at Harvard University/ Massachusetts General Hospital.

Professional Associations
Dr. Hoeffel is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and is board certified. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of joint replacement including; dislocation, infection, implant design and patient registries. He has published several articles and book chapters on a variety of orthopedic topics.

Jack Drogt, MD, sees patients with hip and knee disorders and injuries with an emphasis on hip and knee replacement and fracture care. Dr. Drogt is a partner in the Summit Orthopedic group and specializes in knee reconstruction, knee arthroscopy and hip and knee joint replacement.

Medical Training
Dr. Drogt completed his undergraduate college studies at the University of Illinois. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Ill. He completed a general surgical internship and his orthopedic surgical training at the University of Minnesota.

Professional Associations
Dr. Drogt is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Drogt is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is on the faculty at the University of Minnesota and is an associate professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
