Keith Berend, M.D. is a founding physician of the Mount Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital specializing in less-invasive total knee and hip arthroplasty, minimally invasive partial knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, rapid rehabilitation and outcomes studies. He is trained and certified in Oxford® Partial Knee Replacement.

Dr. Berend received his undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College and completed his medical doctorate and orthopaedic residency at Duke University. Dr. Berend also completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction of the Hip and Knee at Joint Implant Surgeons, Inc. with Thomas H. Mallory, M.D. and Adolph V. Lombardi, Jr., M.D.

  Roger Emerson, MD

Roger Emerson, Jr., M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon at the Texas Center for Joint Replacement, specializing in total hip and knee replacement and partial knee replacement. He is also an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Dr. Emerson is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Medical School. He completed a surgical internship at Beth Israel Hospital as well as the Harvard combined orthopedic residency in orthopedic surgery.  Dr. Emerson was also an Otto Aufranc Fellow in reconstructive orthopedic surgery at Mount Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital.
